Heat-Press Application Guide

DTF transfers apply quickly with a heat press. These are general starting points — always test on a scrap piece first, since presses and fabrics vary.

Recommended settings

  • Temperature: ~300–315°F (149–157°C)
  • Pressure: firm / medium-high
  • Time: 10–15 seconds

Steps

  1. Pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Position the transfer, film side up.
  3. Press using the settings above.
  4. Let it cool, then peel the film slowly (cold peel).
  5. Optional: cover with parchment and press again for 5–10 seconds to set and soften.

Care

Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn the garment inside out, wash cold, and hang or tumble dry on low. Avoid bleach and don't iron directly on the print.
