FAQ

What is a DTF transfer?

DTF (direct-to-film) is a full-color print on a special film that you apply to fabric with a heat press. It works on cotton, polyester, blends and more — on light or dark garments — with bright color, fine detail, and a soft, stretchable finish.

Do I need special equipment?

You'll need a heat press; a household iron isn't reliable for DTF. Most transfers apply at about 300–315°F with firm pressure for 10–15 seconds. See our Heat-Press Application Guide for details.

What file should I send?

A PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, sized to your final print. If your file needs work, add our Design & Art Services and we'll prep it.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimums — order a single transfer or a full gang sheet.

How fast is turnaround?

Same or next business day once your artwork is approved. Shipping time is added on top.

What's a gang sheet?

A 22"-wide sheet you fill with as many designs as you like, priced by length (about $3.99/sq ft). It's the most cost-effective way to buy DTF in volume.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout, with free shipping on qualifying orders over a set amount.

How do I care for pressed garments?

Wait 24 hours before the first wash, turn the garment inside out, wash cold, and avoid harsh detergents or high-heat drying for best durability.
